Marinated Grilled Shrimp

4   garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup   olive oil
1/2 cup   fresh basil leaf, chopped
2 tbs   balsamic vinegar
1 tbs   worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp   hot pepper sauce
2 lbs   fresh shrimp, medium peeled and deveined
  • Combine all ingredients except shrimp in a zip top bag and shake to combine.
  • Add shrimp and place bag in a large container so the shrimp lay as flat as possible to get good contact with the marinade.
  • Marinate in the refrigerator at least 2 hours, turning at least once to make sure the marinade gets everywhere.
  • Skewer shrimp and grill 4 minutes on each side.
